Illuminations of Dinner Machine

Ink on calfskin vellum, print on gameboard, print on perspex, empty ant farm, prosthetic mouth, poster, print on tea-stained paper, magic sand, glass dome, plasticoat, modelling supplies and furniture.

Dinner Machine is an ongoing piece of hysterical fantasy storytelling that explores networks and ecologies of humans and non-humans within an impossibly large and complex castle.

Meeting the gallery, a set of diagrams and drawings explore the structures and systems at play within the fiction. The installation’s pedagogical mode of presentation against the drawings’ chaotic abundance expresses the difficulty of communicating and understanding complexities such as climate change.
